The Cold Face Reset
Cool your face, calm your brain
Today’s vibe:
Anxious? Wired? Stuck in your thoughts? Your face holds the key to full-body calm.
THE IDEA – The Cold Face Reset
Holding something cold to your face activates the vagus nerve and tells your body: we’re safe now.
THE RESET:
Grab a cold compress, chilled spoon, or damp towel.
Hold it gently against your cheeks, forehead, or between your eyebrows for 30 seconds.
Breathe slowly while you do it.
WHY IT MATTERS:
Cold facial exposure stimulates the dive reflex. It slows heart rate, calms the vagus nerve, and shifts your system out of stress.
Feeling tense? Start with your face.
